Since 1979, I have been working in Sweden within the following area :

  • Cellular Telecommunication (UMTS, GPRS and GSM), core network

  • IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)
  • IETF Standardization Manager for Ericsson
  • Standardization experiences:

    Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), IETF, Internet Engineering Task Force 3GPP, 3rd Generation Partnerhip Project OMA, Open Mobile Alliances ETSI, European Telecommunications Standards Institute IEEE, American Institute of Electrical Engineers 3G IP IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards IEEE 802.11

    • 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) ,

    • Open Mobile Alliance (OMA),

    • European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
      As chairman for the Working Group 1 for ETSI TIPHON, a group for standardization of VoIP.

    • 3GIP, All IP, common 3G Network architecture strategy. resulted in successful completion of Release 6 of Internet Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) in 3GPP, in 2002
